Another picture-free post. I'm just posting a quick update from my husband's laptop (computer, people, minds out of the gutter) while we're down in Portland.

We found a house outside of Vancouver, WA. I'm really excited because the girls will each have their own bedroom and it has a wonderful sunroom just perfect for knitting! The house sits on just over 1/2 an acre and it's flat and fenced so the girls will have a place to play and there will be room for a small garden. Another bonus is that it's all one story so navigating stairs won't be an issue.

When we return to Spanaway tomorrow it'll be back to finishing up the remodeling of the laundry room. Our four chickens will need a new home. They are very tame and hopefully there will be somebody out there interested in friendly fowl... as pets, not fried or stewed. Abandoment guilt abounds!

Cheers!

The house sold. It closes on October 2nd. Which gives us 19 days to finish up here, find a new place and move. Yippeee!

PSA for Fiber-aholics!

Miss Cindy over at Knit Won Purl Too is having a yarnalicious contest. To win all you need to do is visit her site and find the September 10th entry. She is knitting a gorgeous Victorian Shawl and if you make a guess regarding the finishing date of said shawl then you'll be entered into a drawing to win some fabulous yarn. And get this, you don't even have to guess correctly, any old guess will do. So head on over and good luck y'all.

Yikes!

Please disregard the folded over collar, I was trying to take this picture myself. I'm obviously going to have to rip out and make a different version of the neckline on this SKB if it's to be worn without a camisole or undershirt. To say the neckline is plunging is quite an understatement. I'll try to work on it again this evening and then I'll just have the sleeves to finish. Right now it's off to Home Depot to buy more building supplies. Cheers!
